TPCF and CCF invest in Organic Valley
The Twin Pines Cooperative Foundation and the Cooperative Community Fund Program recently invested $101,000 in the Organic Valley Co-op. Receiving the investment on behalf of Organic Valley was Theresa Marquez. “The 700 organic farmers of the Organic Valley cooperative are grateful for TPCF’s vote of confidence in organic farming and our cooperative. TPCF is to be commended for making the largest investment by a cooperative in Organic Valley,” said Marquez.
Gathered at the Davis Food Co-op were board members of the Twin Pines Cooperative Foundation and board members and the General Managers of the Davis Food Co-op and the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op. The investment took place during September which is Organic Month.
